What can I ask Ellis to help with?
Prescription refills, renewal requests, appointment help and reminders, and calls to family.
Can Ellis book or change an appointment?
From your phone, you can ask Ellis to book or move an appointment. Spoken requests to move one are shared with family to follow up.
How much does Ellis cost?
Free to download. A subscription costs $12.99/month or $89.99/year through the App Store. Cancel anytime in your phone’s subscription settings.
Does the person I look after need to be good with technology?
No. You set it up and send a link. They tap it, then press one button to talk. No password to remember.
How does family fit in?
You set Ellis up, read call summaries, and get notified when something needs your help.
Are there medicines Ellis will not call about?
Yes. Ellis cannot request controlled medicines. Contact the pharmacy yourself for those.
How is Ellis different from a smart speaker?
Ellis makes real phone calls and shares what was said, so you and your family can follow up.
Is Ellis a medical alert system?
No. Ellis does not provide emergency help or medical advice. Contact emergency services in an emergency.
Does Ellis watch or monitor the person?
No. Ellis acts when asked. Call summaries are visible to both the person and their family.
