The short version
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or tracking. There is no banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The one thing we store in your browser
After you sign up to hear when Ellis launches, the site stores a small flag in your browser’s local storage so that the form does not keep asking you. The flag records only which method you chose, email or phone. It does not contain your address or your number, it is not sent anywhere, and nobody else can read it.
Clearing your browser’s site data for www.askellis.care removes it, and the form comes back. There is also a link under the confirmation that lets you sign up with a different address without clearing anything.
Services that see your visit
Vercel, which hosts this website, handles each request and keeps ordinary server records for a short time, as described in our Privacy Policy. It does not set cookies on this site.
When you submit the sign-up form, the details you typed are passed by our server to Formspree, which stores them for us. They are sent only when you press the button.
The Ellis app
The app is not a website and does not use cookies. It keeps its sign-in, and any setup details saved before an account exists, on the phone, encrypted with a key held in the iOS Keychain. It also remembers which sign-in method was used last. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else the app handles.
Changes
If this website ever starts using cookies or analytics, this page will say so first, and where the law requires consent, you will be asked for it before anything is set. The date at the top is the date of the last change.
